Just a word of warning: If I'm reclining on the couch and you jump up and stick your butt in my face I will blow air onto said cat butt until you move. I know you don't like it. That's why I do it. I don't like cat butt in my face. Besides that, you don't make a really good window, anyway.
On a similar note; if you continue to stick you head in the sink while I'm brushing my teeth there's a very good chance you will get spit on. I'm not being mean but I do need to rinse and spit. One day maybe you'll learn this.

—Eso me vendría muy bien para el currículum, que es importante saber idiomas.
Congratulations! You caught the small, furry bugger who invaded our living space! I'm sorry I ended your fun by dropping the Crock-Pot lid and a heavy clay bowl on it, but I was thinking it was dead and the lid would let it keep until morning. Besides, we were all supposed to be asleep by then.
So I went back to bed. Then you and Maddy wouldn't leave the arrangement alone. Groggily, I investigated.
Apparently, the mouse had only fainted, not keeled over from shock. Either that or it knew how to play dead.
I'm sorry I ruined your fun a second time when I got my sister and her husband to take the li'l guy outside. But like I said, it was supposed to be bedtime. I'm not as nocturnal as you are (and that's saying something).
Anyway, I know you probably don't know why you two got some kibble as a reward, but you earned it. Thanks, sweeties. Keep up the good work!

I am delighted that you love your new feather boa so much! But why do you insist on dropping it in your water bowl? I can understand you wanting to keep your Feathered Lure toy in your food bowl. That way, you always know where it is, and your food bowl is usually empty. But your water bowl is FULL, which makes your feather boa wet. And soggy. And messy to play with. And then you bring it into my lap. While it is wet. And soggy. And, when you do that in the dark, rather scary, until I identify it as your wet soggy feather boa.
I also did enjoy watching you pretend that my sneakers were trying to eat your feather boa and you had to attack them and pull your feather boa out from inside of them. It was a very dramatic performance, and you certainly taught my sneakers several very important lessons about messing with your toys.
I was also very glad you did that segment of play BEFORE you dunked your feather boa in your water bowl.
Also, I'm not sure your sister Nox or your Lapine Brother The Phooka appreciate having bits of feather swimming in their drinking water.
I'm still wondering about the WHYS of that one.

Como casi todo, cuando te lo llaman en otro idioma, la cosa parece más glamurosa. Recordaré este año como el primero en el que me llamaron "lady" en directo (segurata del concierto de NIN en Madrid al darme el visto bueno para bajar las escaleras a pista: me hizo gracia porque quedaba muy fino, muy "dama", en un momento así...) y "Frau" por correspondencia (el paquetito que me acaba de llegar de las Alemañññas, del que les contaré a continuación).
Porque mi portero intuye que soy buena gente, que si no entre eso y el andar to er día con Rammstein a cuestas (fijo que algún vecino ha comentado, porque los vecinos SIEMPRE comentan) se pensaba que soy medio nazi o algo.

I don’t know Dr. Peet and I couldn’t tell you his work from a hole in the wall but frankly, this picture terrifies me. I’m expecting this to be an outtake from the SAW movie series and he’s putting me into some kind of contraption that I’ll need to cut a key out of my own stomach to get out of before the pins erupt and my head is penetrated by steel rods at warp speed. That’s a pretty weird way of saying “wow, sweet picture” but it’s the first thing that popped into my head.
I’m going to Hawaii on Sunday for Tim Hendrick’s wedding so the next posts from me will include funny umbrellas and photos of Norm in a bathing suit on the beach. Shhh, don’t tell him because he doesn’t know I’ll be posting them! Stay tuned and thank you for your continued support of BME.
Thanks to one of my co-workers who kindly offered to take it for me. Please note, no top hat today!
Because of comments from certain people, I am contemplating taking up embroidery so I can adorn some of my bloomers with the phrase "crankypants". It would make me laugh and laugh and laugh.

Thanks for being so nice to my nephew in the previous post, guys! He had a blast reading the comments. I think he's more excited than ever about art, so that is fantastic! I'll be sure to post more of his stuff in the future.
Steve Haworth sent me this photo of Joel’s resurrection suspension. You’ll notice it’s done using gilson hooks. Jorge Pozuelo took the photos and the suspension itself was done in Madrid, Spain with the A Sangre Fria suspension team. If I’m correct that means cold blood. It’s either that or some kind of alcoholic drink that I don’t know much about. Either way, pretty sick name for a suspension group but then again, everything sounds better in another language.
